The ceremony locations: La Ravanne and La Pointe
For destination weddings, ceremonies at Le Paradis usually take place at one of two spots we love. La Ravanne gives you Le Morne Brabant as a backdrop, paired with a stunning stretch of beach where golden hour and sunset light falls right between the couple during the ceremony itself. La Pointe is the other option, with its own quieter charm depending on the mood you're after.
The golf course
Le Paradis doesn't have a jetty, but honestly, the golf course more than makes up for it. Couple portraits look wonderful on the lawn here, and given how expansive the course is, there are so many spots along it that offer a genuinely unique perspective, from the lake to the long, tree lined alleys.
The beach areas
Each of the resort's beach areas has its own character, and we'll usually move between two or three of them during a session depending on the light and time of day.
Île aux Bénitiers
This nearby islet is worth knowing about as an optional extra session rather than something that comes as part of your day of coverage. Couples who'd love a dedicated post wedding shoot often book this separately for its turquoise shallows, sandbanks, and open horizon.
Aerial perspectives
As official photography partners at the resort, we're well placed to arrange drone photography, though the final call always rests with Le Paradis given their own privacy policy around the resort and its guests. We'd always encourage couples to confirm this directly with the resort ahead of time. Drone photography also comes as an add-on rather than something included as standard.

Because Le Paradis faces west, the light in the final hour before sunset turns the lagoon a colour that genuinely photographs beautifully every time. Whether you actually get that light in your photos comes down to your ceremony time and how much coverage you've arranged for the day.
Coverage at Le Paradis typically runs 1.5 to 2 hours, taking in preparation shots, the ceremony itself, and couple portraits. If your ceremony is scheduled for the afternoon, that window often doesn't leave natural room for golden hour. We photographed a wedding recently with a 3pm ceremony, and between preparation, the ceremony, and couple photos, there simply wasn't time left to catch the golden hour and sunset within that coverage. The couple wanted those photos too much to let it go, so they added an extra 1.5 hours to make it happen, and we're so glad they did.

A Typical Wedding Day Timeline at Le Paradis
